| Chamber members gathered at The Hospital Sidney on February 24th to see
the newly renovated maternity ward featured during the February Business After Hours Event.
Displayed above are some of the many personalized tiles which funded the project. Small
tiles were sold for $100 each, and large tiles were $1,000 each. "Many of the tiles were actually purchased from hospital employees," stated Russ Test, Administrator of The Hospital, "This shows their dedication and commitement to the project." He noted that there is still time to purchase a tile, however space is becoming very limited.

The new maternity rooms at
The Hospital were designed to minimize the somewhat intimidating nature of a normal
hospital room. In the picture shown to the left, medical equipment is actually hidden
behind the framed picture on the wall. The bed displayed will transform into a fully
functional delivery bed, eliminating the need to change beds during labor. While seemingly
simple, this bed has a bears a hefty price tag at $10,000. Rooms also feature a full
bathroom complete with a whirlpool.
Food for the Business
After Hours was provided by The Hospital's own in-house Dietary Department. The food was
both delicious and, of course, healthy!
